The Localisation Research Centre (LRC) is happy to announce the 10th Annual Localisation Summer School.
Moblile Application Development & Localisation
The 2012 edition of the LRC Summer School will focus on the area of Mobile Applications. Over the three days of the Summer School, sessions will aim to provide participants with a basic introduction to mobile application localisation and also a hands-on overview of some of the development and localisation practices for the Android and Windows phone operating systems.
Participant Profile
This year's Summer School will be a basic, introductory level course aimed at individuals looking to take their first steps in the area of international mobile application development and localisation. It will be a beginners level course with no programming skills required. However, please note, participants should be computer proficient and comfortable with the idea of doing some basic programming (instructions will be provided).
