Interpreting in a trauma center implies a great knowledge of medical terminology as well as energy and interpreting skills tailor to the stressful situations that a trauma call involves.
Participants of this workshop will learn about the best ways to cope with the “trauma pace” and how to make interpretation encounters in this setting more successful. We will cover different strategies that medical interpreters need to follow the standards of practice to have a more successful outcome.
